Lee Santos has been building custom rock waterfalls in backyards throughout New York and New Jersey since 1995. We have worked with thousands of homeowners to build custom rock waterfalls that transform their pool into the relaxing, gathering spot for their family and friends. Over the course of the past 20 years we have assembled the following list of some of the most common questions our clients ask.
Q. Can a Custom Waterfall be installed on an existing pool or does it need to be a new pool?
A. Our Custom Waterfalls can be installed on any existing pool or new pool as well.
Q. Is it a good investment to add a Custom Waterfall to my pool?
A. Yes, every pool not only would look better, it would also increase its value with the addition of a Custom Waterfall. It can also provide endless hours of enjoyment and relaxation.
Q. Does it take a lot of time to have a Custom Waterfall installed on my pool?
A. No, depending on the size you want, it could take as little as one day to have it installed.
Q. What kind of materials are used to manufacture and install the waterfall?
A. We use the highest quality Limestone rock available, which is called Moss rock. It is highly textured, has lots of character lines and varies in color from a light cream or tan to shades of brown and grey. We always ensure that the color of the stone compliments the color of the pool and patio.
Q. How does it operate and does it need electricity?
A. Yes, it needs electricity, so we simply connect it to your pool pump and it acts as another return to your pool. Your pool pump will have to be turned on if you want the waterfall to run. No specific electrical line will have to be added in order to run your waterfall.
